Schutt released some entertaining videos demonstrating the effectiveness of their TPU cushioning. You can see them test their padding with a bowling ball drop, a leaf blower, steak (yes, steak!), and a tub of water. These, of course, aren’t the official tests, but they still show how well their padding performs.

Last November, I wrote an article about Easton taking their early release 2011 bat design to players, coaches, and dealers for feedback on the graphic designs. I’m happy to report that Easton is at it again with their new Fall 2011 bat line. Prototypes of these bats are being taken all over the country for feedback, and I was lucky enough to be in on one of these previews.
